This is the front support for the 7 grate bars on the Rayburn MF (216) model. It has a "slot" underneath where the riddling lever hooks in and by rotating it forward and backwards the ash can be dislodged between the bars. Made of cast iron it has upper and lower sections to take the "bottom" and "top" grate bars.

It's part of the complete grate support which we sell as well.
