Exocet Cooker Additive

A specialist fuel additive designed to improve the ‘burn quality’ of domestic 
kerosene when used in range-style cookers and boilers and/or where 
vaporising burners are being utilised.
APPLICATION
Although the Char Value of domestic kerosene (BS2869:C2) has an upper limit of 
20mg/kg, field experience since 2008 indicates that for numerous reasons fuel is 
actually being supplied with Char Values in the range 16-30mg/kg.
The situation is not improving and is having a serious negative impact on the 
performance of range cookers (e.g. AGAs, Rayburns, Esses, etc), where carbon build
up around the burner is now commonplace. This results in variable heat output and 
poor controllability. Exocet Cooker Additive acts to control the Char Value of the fuel, 
improving its combustion performance and maintaining a clean burner for longer.
