We don't sell the P shape wire rope that the makers of the Aga use. Instead we supply this inexpensive rope that simply glues on with high heat Silicone.
We are selling a length of this suitable for BOTH ovens on a 2 oven Aga range cooker (with some spare) plus silicone, at a reduced cost, as a package.
Simply remove the old, clean the mating surface and put a bead of of the silicone on the door back and then attach the seal, with the cut ends underneath (you can joint them with the silicone as well).
Please note BEFORE sticking the rope in place do see if the door seats as you may have to STRETCH it to reduce thickness. Once glued, you cannot return it for a thinner version!
We also offer a 4 metre length, with the same glue size, for the 4 oven Aga range cooker.
